"Strangers & Consequences" by Last One Picked brings back that raw 90s Americana Rock sound we've been missing for so many years. Each song on the album has an upbeat and fun sing-a-long feel, twangy melodic guitars, and a solid rhythm section to keep your foot tapping. The musicianship on the CD is totally professional. The lead vocalist, Chip Johnson, has a similar timbre in his voice to Adam Duritz from Counting Crows, and delivers honesty and the right amount of energy to make the songs work. The horn section on certain tracks, adds a nice depth to the music. The track that stands out the most "Nothing At All" catches you from the start with a contagious guitar progression and a unique chorus hook. The production is very clean, which allows each instrument of this tight band, to stand out in the recording. ...You'll enjoy this CD.
